Chicken in Bacon and Oyster Sauce


4 chicken thigh pieces (each cut into 3 and skin removed)
2 bacon rashers (chopped into fairly small pieces)
3 tablespoons of oyster sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 large clove of garlic (finely chopped)
1 tablespoon of sunflower oil 
Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.

Heat oil over medium in a pan. Fry the bacon pieces till they are crispy and start to release fat. 

To that add the chicken, grated garlic and pepper. Sauté till the pieces are lightly browned.

Toss in the oyster sauce and brown sugar to the chicken and layer them in a baking tray and bake for 45 minutes.

Serve hot.
